US non-farm payroll posts biggest gain since April

The US non-farm payroll data has enjoyed its largest spike since April 2011, and the number of jobless claims has also fallen sharply.
American officials said 243,000 jobs were added to the economy - well above expectations - while the jobless proportion fell to 8.3%, a low not seen since 2009.
The non-farm payroll positions created were distributed evenly across the economy. US futures are braced for a rise at trade's open.
