Schroders promotes Rob Hall to head of multi-manager

Schroders has promoted Rob Hall as head of multi-manager where will co-manager three of the firm's fund of funds.
Hall joined Schroders in March 2011 in the position of head of manager selection, a role which he will keep in his new capacity and report to Johanna Kyrklund (pictured), who heads multi-asset at the firm.
He will also three multi-manager funds: Schroders Cautious Managed, Schroders Strategic Balanced and Schroders High Alpha funds, alongside Jane Turner.
Hall helps fill a void at Schroders following the departure of previous multi-manager head Andrew Yeadon earlier this year.
Kyrklund said: 'Given Rob’s track record in portfolio management and leading a team, we have no doubt he is the ideal candidate to lead our multi-manager capability.
'In his role as head of manager selection, Rob has been researching and selecting managers while working closely with our asset allocation team. Therefore it was a natural progression that he continue this role but also be made head of multi-manager.'
