GAM partners with Barclays for multi-asset fund

GAM is teaming with Barclays Capital to launch an actively managed fund of indices, providing dynamic exposure to a range of asset classes.
The GAM Star Barclays Dynamic Multi-Index Allocation fund aims to deliver non-correlated returns in any market environment.
The Ucits IV fund is managed by GAM using active allocations across a range of Barclays Capital quantitative indices, allowing GAM to invest across different asset classes in order to reflect the changing market dynamics.
The fund also offers daily liquidity, and can be passported into various European jurisdictions, subject to the approval of domestic regulators.
Craig Wallis, global head of institutional and fund distribution at GAM, said: ‘The alternatives market has evolved as clients seek to access alternative strategies in a liquid format.’
The firm added that investing in quantitative indices has become more mainstream over the last few years, as investors try to complement their alternative portfolios with index allocations.News sponsored by:
