Fuhr’s ETF deputy quits BofAML
Markets

Shane Kelly, who previously worked alongside Deborah Fuhr (pictured) in ETF research at BlackRock and Morgan Stanley, has walked out of his post at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) after only a few months.
Kelly worked with Fuhr at BlackRock producing the firm’s ETF Landscape Reviews, however he exited the asset manager and joined BofAML in the third quarter of last year.
At the same time, Fuhr, who left BlackRock in July last year, was due to join BofAML in Q3. Fuhr had been due to take up the post of head of global delta one strategy, but it later emerged the role had been axed and that Fuhr would no longer be joining the bank.
Both Fuhr and Kelly came on board at BlackRock through its acquisition of Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in 2009. The duo joined BGI in 2008, having previously worked together at Morgan Stanley. It is not known whether Kelly has taken up a position elsewhere.
