Australian-based JCP Investment Partners sold a little more than 14 million shares in Henderson Group in two separate trades at the start of the month.
An announcement posted on the stock exchange today revealed JCP had sold 11.9 million shares on 3 February to reduce its holding in Henderson to a little more than 31 million shares, accounting for 2.82% stake of the company. Based on Friday's closing price of 120.1p the disposal was worth around £14.2 million.
It represented the second time this month that JCP has cut its holding in Henderson after it sold 2.2 million shares in Henderson on 1 February.
The moves come as Henderson, which is fronted by Andrew Formica (pictured), prepares to unveil its full-year results at the end of the month.
