Threesixty launches IFP-backed paraplanning forums
by Alex Steger on Feb 03, 2012 at 10:27
Support services provider Threesixty is to kick off a series of paraplanner events next month, launching the first of the year in Chepstow, where cashflow modelling will come under the spotlight.
Threesixty has teamed up with the Institute of Financial Planning and paraplanning website The Paraplanner to run the forums.
ParaPlanPlus co-founder Richard Allum (pictured) said the events would allow paraplanners to share ideas and pick up business tips.
‘The first forum [to be held on 8 February] will be on cashflow planning and how to present it to clients,’ he said. ‘They offer paraplanners the chance to compare what they are doing to what their peers are doing. It’s a really good forum to share ideas as well as technical issues and best practice.’
Threesixty managing director Phil Young said he hoped the forums would provide paraplanners with similar levels of support to that received by advisers.
‘We ran some last year and they were incredibly well attended - we got a turnout of about 70 people in London,’ he said.
