Novia teams up with Hawksmoor

Wealth management platform Novia has added Hawksmoor to its panel of discretionary fund managers.

The South west wealth manager, which is fronted by former Citywire Wealth Manager cover star John Crowley (pictured), will offer a range of models on the platform including its Cautious, Balanced, Growth and Income portfolios.

Hawksmoor, which was formed in 2008, is already an established provider to professional introducers such as solicitors, accountants and financial planners.  

It had previously stated that access to these markets through a wrap platform was a natural next step in its evolution.

Novia chief executive Bill Vasilieff gave the rationale behind the decision:

He said: 'Hawksmoor has the proven track record that Novia seeks from its discretionary managers; Vanburgh, its first fund in the Cautious Managed Fund sector, has achieved impressive performance with growth of almost 50% since its launch in February 2009 and a return of 14% over the past year. We, therefore, welcome them to our already impressive panel of managers.'
