Beacon takes on former HSBC adviser

Cambridgeshire-based Beacon Wealth Management has hired a former HSBC adviser, taking the number of IFAs at the firm to five.

Chris Wills said he was attracted to Beacon by its good reputation and media presence.

In January the firm scooped the 2013 New Model Adviser® award for the East of England.

‘Beacon has created a great reputation in the local community and I have read their columns in magazines for a long time,’ said Wills.

‘What I like about Beacon is that they provide advice in the client’s best interests from the whole of the market, which I have not been able to do before due to being tied in with a bank.’

Stand by for a mass churn of HSBC clients into Beacon investments then.
