  • German Journalist – Global Editorial

    We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious journalist to join our rapidly-growing international publishing business. Citywire has a range of publications and websites serving the international investment industry and already has offices in London, Singapore and Munich. As we expand our financial publishing business in Germany we are looking for someone to join our international editorial team, working closely with our London and Munich offices and regularly spending time with the teams based there.



    The ideal candidate would have strong reporting skills and some experience of working in a fast-paced, news-driven environment. A knowledge of financial markets and/or the investment industry would be an advantage. The role would involve generating a regular flow of news stories, interviews and other high-quality editorial content for both our German and international audiences.

  • Analyst Programmer

    Working directly with the Technical Architect to build solutions to use, analyse and present data on Citywire’s global audience of financial professionals and fund managers. The work will include working with stakeholders to understand and advise on how to best use data. Technologies used will include AP.NET, hadoop (with C#), hive, sqoop, SQL server 2012, Excel Power Pivot, DAX and the tabular model.

  • Digital Sales Manager

    The recruit would play a key role in growing the digital revenue across advertising, sponsorship and content opportunities. This would cover www.citywire.co.uk and our growing portfolio of apps and mobile opportunities. The recruit would have responsibility for key asset management clients, life companies and other financial product providers. They will be required to work closely with others in the digital team to deal with both clients and their agencies. The recruit would also be tasked with finding new client and business opportunities in the market place that would aid the continued growth and success of the Citywire digital business.

  • Graduate Sales

    To shadow the Sales & Commercial Director for first three months in order to learn about and experience all different areas of the sales department with a permanent placement within one of the sales channels at the end of the three month term. The placement will be within either the international, research, digital or print teams.



    You will spend time with all areas of the business to understand the objectives of their job roles and to see how the different departments work together. Attend meetings with members of the sales team to gain an understanding of our clients and their needs. You will work on designated project to be presented at the end of the three month period.

  • International Event Sales

    To present Citywire’s brand and events’ proposition via email, telephone and in face to face meetings to existing clients and new commercial partners to assist the growth of Citywire’s international events’ revenue through sponsorship sales to asset management companies in the UK and Europe

  • Picture Desk Assistant (6 month contract)

    We are looking for someone who has experience of Photoshop, some experience of InDesign. Illustrator and HTML would be a bonus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong all round computer and organisation skills. At least 6 months experience in a creative or production role in an office environment (can include placements and internships)

We don't want people who are just going to plod along from nine to five – we want people with lots of ideas
